Just did it today. Hooked up CTK-720 to Imac with Snow Leopard (10.2.6) using GarageBand.
Steps: 1) Go to : http://code.google.com/p/casiousbmididriver/ 2) Download the CasioUSBMIDIDriver.plugin (see the two choices on the right side of screen) 3) Place the CasioUSBMIDIDriver.Plugin file into the MIDI Driver subfolder: Macintosh HD => Library => Audio => MIDI Drivers 4) Restart 5) Plug in USB cable, open GarageBand, turn on Casio 6) In GraarageBand Open New Project, Start by using Piano, Select Keyboard (command K) in the Window menu 7) You should see the keyboard being played on the screen.
PS: Thank you Francois Ferland.

I, too, broke the keys on my Casio PX-555R full size keyboard. I have been playing for a long time, and I found that my thumbs match on the G, A, and D keys. Thumbs hit a lot harder than fingers, particularly when doing straight on chords on piano or keyboard, quite common in pop music. We have a Casio WK-240 and a Yamaha FC4A pedal. To reverse the polarity: Turn the piano off, find the FUNCTION button, plug in your foot pedal, and when you power back on make sure you hold down the function button at the same time. The polarity should switch. Casio key board Have you tried a continuity test on the switch, with no power in the key board? Not that this is the problem, but there looks like pcb chemical residue, or it could just be flux, if the adapter works ok and you say it does, then power is getting to the switch, DPDT you need to work out what pins are closed and open circuit when the switch is thrown, again continuity.
